Scroll the comments on a post where every reply says "Check your DM!" a hundred times and it looks like a machine. People notice, and so do Instagram's spam systems, which look for repeated identical actions. The fix costs one minute: write a few versions.
Why variation matters
- It looks human. A comment section with varied replies reads like an attentive brand.
- It is safer. Spam detection watches for the same text posted again and again at speed. Variations reduce that pattern.
- It can do more than one job. One version can confirm, another can add urgency, another can thank.
DM Flow picks one of up to three variations at random for each public reply.
How many to write
Three is enough for most posts. For a post you expect to get thousands of comments, write three good ones rather than ten weak ones; quality matters more than count.
What a public reply should do
- Tell the person the DM was sent
- Hint where to look, especially for non-followers (Requests)
- Sound like you
It should not contain the link or the price. The point is to move the conversation to the inbox.
Examples
Neutral
- "Sent! Check your DMs ๐ฉ"
- "Just messaged you the details"
- "Done, it's in your inbox"
Friendly / creator
- "Sent it over, enjoy! ๐"
- "Check your DMs, hope you love it"
- "In your inbox! Tell me how it goes"
Hinglish
- "DM check karo ๐"
- "Bhej diya! Inbox dekho"
- "Details DM mein bheji hain"
For non-followers
- "Sent! If you don't see it, check message requests"

Should you reply publicly at all?
Usually yes. A public reply makes sure the commenter notices the DM, and it shows other viewers that commenting works, which brings more comments. Switch it off only for sensitive topics where people may not want public attention, such as health or finance questions.
Frequently asked questions
Can the public reply mention the person's name?
The tool replies directly under their comment, so Instagram already shows it as a reply to them. A name is unnecessary.
Will public replies count as comments on my post?
Yes, your replies are comments too.
Can I reply publicly without sending a DM?
Most tools are built to do both. A public reply alone does not deliver anything.
What if someone complains in the comments?
Reply yourself. Automation should not answer complaints.
