"Link?" is the comment affiliate creators see most. Every unanswered one is lost commission. Comment-to-DM sends the right link to every commenter while you make the next reel.
The setup
- One automation per product reel
- Keyword:
LINK, or a product word likeBOTTLE,LAMP - DM:
Here's the steel bottle from the reel, {name} 👇 Price changes often on Amazon, so check before you buy.

Disclosure
India's advertising guidelines (ASCI) and affiliate programme rules require clear disclosure when you earn from links. Add a line such as "(affiliate link)" in the DM and disclose in the reel or caption as your programme requires.
Multiple products in one reel
Send a link to a list (a storefront page, or a short note listing all links) rather than several buttons.
Tracking
Use separate tracking IDs or tags per reel if your programme allows, to see which reels earn.
Keep links alive
Products go out of stock or links break. Review top automations monthly and update links.
A sample setup
| Automation | Scope | Keywords | DM sends |
|---|---|---|---|
| Product reel | That reel | link, product name | That product's affiliate link |
| Storefront catch-all | Every post | link, shop, store | Your storefront or link list |
| Deals | Deal posts | deal, sale | Current deals page |
Choosing keywords for affiliate reels
LINK is the default, and fine. Product-specific keywords help when you run many automations at once, and they tell you which product people want: BOTTLE, LAMP, SHOES. If you use a product word, say it clearly in the reel and put it on screen.
Writing the DM
Say what it is, add one honest note, disclose:
Here's the bamboo laptop stand from the reel, {name}. I've used it for 4 months, no wobble. (Affiliate link, I may earn a small commission.)

Honest notes ("price drops during sales", "runs small, size up") build the trust that makes people buy from your links again.
Content that earns
- Problem first, product second: "my desk was a mess, this fixed it"
- Comparisons of two or three options at different prices
- "Under ₹999" roundups
- Long-term reviews: "6 months later"
Mistakes to avoid
- Recommending products you have not used
- Leaving automations on for products that are discontinued or out of stock
- Hiding disclosure in a long caption
- Sending a generic storefront link from a single-product reel
