Public replies and DMs together
When DM Flow sends a DM for a comment, it can also reply to the comment in public. That does two jobs: it tells the person (and everyone reading) to check their DMs, and the extra activity on your post helps it reach more people.
You can write up to three public replies per automation. DM Flow picks one at random for each comment, so your comment section does not fill with the same sentence over and over.
Example set
- "Sent you the details in DM 💌"
- "Check your DMs!"
- "Done! Message sent 🙌"
Hinglish works just as well: "DM check karo 😊".
Why rotate replies
Identical replies on hundreds of comments look automated and can read as spam. Short, varied replies look natural. Read why replies should vary and public reply templates.
Turn it off when you want
Some sellers prefer the DM only. Public replies switch on or off per automation.

Does it reply to every comment?
It replies to comments that match the automation's keywords, or to any comment if you choose that.
Can I reply in a different language?
Yes. Replies and DMs can be in English, Hindi, Hinglish, Gujarati or any language Instagram supports.
Does a public reply count toward my DM limit?
No. Your plan's monthly limit counts DMs sent.
Can I use it without sending a DM?
DM Flow is built around the DM. The public reply is there to point people to it.
