What this means for a viral reel
Say a reel gets 3,000 comments asking for the price in a month. On a per-contact plan each of those people is an active contact, so you move up a tier or pay overage. On DM Flow the Growth plan's 15,000 DMs cover it at the same ₹999. Read per-contact vs flat pricing for the full maths.
Setup time
ManyChat's builder is flexible, which also means more to learn: most people take an hour or two for a first comment flow. DM Flow is one form (post, keywords, replies, message, link) and most people go live in five to ten minutes.
Support
ManyChat has extensive documentation, a large community and many agencies. DM Flow is a small team in Gujarat with email and WhatsApp support in Indian hours, in English, Hindi or Gujarati.

Is DM Flow a ManyChat alternative?
For Instagram comment-to-DM, yes. For multi-channel chatbots with AI and integrations, no: ManyChat does much more there.
Can I move my ManyChat automations to DM Flow?
There is no import, but a comment-to-DM automation takes a few minutes to recreate. Switch off the ManyChat automation on that post first so people do not get two messages.
Are both safe for my Instagram account?
Both use Meta's official Instagram API and neither asks for your password. Read is Instagram DM automation safe.
Can I try both?
Yes, both have free plans. Do not run both on the same post at the same time.
