DM Flow is an Instagram automation tool made in India. When someone comments a word like PRICE or LINK on your post or reel, DM Flow replies under their comment and sends them a direct message with your link, price list or coupon, within seconds. It lives at thedmflow.com, and you will also see it written as DMFlow, The DM Flow or thedmflow. They are all the same product.
This page is the plain-English answer to "what is DM Flow?", for people who saw the name on a reel, in a comment or in a search result.
What DM Flow does
DM Flow does one job: it turns comments into conversations.
- You pick a post or reel.
- You choose the keywords people will comment, such as
price, rate, kitna. - You write a short public reply and the DM, with a button that opens your link.
- You switch it to Live.
From then on, every matching comment gets a reply under the comment ("Sent! Check your DMs 📩") and a DM with the link. Each person is saved to a contact list you can export as a CSV.
The main features:
- Comment-to-DM on posts and reels
- Keyword triggers, with up to 20 keywords on one automation
- Public comment replies, with up to three versions that rotate
- Follow-gate: ask people to follow you before they get the link (Growth and Pro)
- Lead capture: a list of everyone who asked, with CSV export
- One automation for every post (on paid plans), so you do not set up each reel again
- Several Instagram accounts in one login on the Pro plan
Who it is for
DM Flow is built for people who sell or share things on Instagram in India:
- D2C brands and boutiques who get "price?" under every reel
- Resellers and home businesses who take orders on WhatsApp or by DM
- Creators who share affiliate links, freebies or course links
- Coaches, clinics, salons and local businesses who want enquiries in the inbox
If your need is "comment a word, get the link", DM Flow covers it. If you need branching chatbots across Messenger, WhatsApp and TikTok, a bigger platform like ManyChat is a better fit, and we say so on our ManyChat comparison.
How DM Flow connects to Instagram
DM Flow uses Meta's official Instagram API with Instagram Login. You approve the connection on Instagram's own screen. We never ask for your password, and you can remove access any time from Instagram's settings. Your account needs to be a Business or Creator account. More on why this matters in official API vs bots.
Pricing
DM Flow has a free plan with one live automation and no time limit. Growth adds the follow-gate and unlimited automations for one Instagram account; Pro covers several accounts. Paid plans are flat monthly prices in rupees, paid by UPI, card or net banking, with a GST invoice:
